We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Administrative Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing administrative support to the Radiotherapy Physics section within the Healthcare Science and Technology Directorate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver a comprehensive administrative service to Radiotherapy Physics, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  • Work on own initiative, maintaining good communications between the team, patients, carers, and other health professionals.
  • Contribute to the effective delivery of patient treatment pathways.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with the Trust Code of Practice.
  • Work in line with the Trust values and professional policies/codes of conduct.
  • Prioritize demand, accommodate unplanned events, and work without direct supervision.

Requirements

  • 5 GCSEs including A-C in Math and English, or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 2-3 (Admin/Clerical skill), or demonstrable equivalent.
  • IT Skills/qualification European computer driving licence, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering a wide range of administrative and secretarial tasks to a high standard in a patient/service-focused environment.
  • Able to exercise own initiative and prioritise/manage own workload, without direct supervision.
