Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced Youth Support Worker to take on the role of a Teaching Assistant in SEND Schools in Liverpool.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As a Youth Support Worker, you will provide essential support to students with diverse learning needs, collaborating with teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND
  • Offer emotional and behavioural support to students
  • Work closely with teachers and staff to implement Educational Health Care Plans
Requirements
  • A passion for working with children and young people with SEND
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
  • A CV covering your educational and employment history
