About the Role

CHM, the national charity for children in care and young care leavers, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Training Officer to plan, design and deliver impactful training content. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and self-administration skills, as well as the ability to develop innovative training packages and support the development of an accredited learning program for Personal Advisers in Leaving Care Service Teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training content that makes a real impact on the lives of children in care and care leavers
  • Collaborate with the team to design and deliver training packages that meet the needs of our clients
  • Support the development of an accredited learning program for Personal Advisers in Leaving Care Service Teams
  • Work with young people and staff to develop and deliver training content that is engaging and effective

Requirements

  • Experience in training and development, preferably in the care and education sector
  • Strong organizational and self-administration skills
  • Ability to develop innovative training packages and support the development of an accredited learning program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
