We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to take on the position of Clinical and Professional Lead for the Tier 4 CAMHS Psychology Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our Clinical Psychology staff, while also maintaining a high level of clinical expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Clinical Psychology staff
- Develop and implement service improvements and developments in specialist and generic areas
- Manage referrals and waiting lists, and contribute to the strategic development of services
- Organize and chair meetings, and represent the profession in local policy forums
- Develop and maintain relationships with commissioners and other stakeholders to ensure effective service provision
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, with a strong background in assessment, formulation, and intervention
- Extensive experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist, with a focus on specialist psychological assessment and intervention
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Knowledge of relevant NHS structures, processes, and policies, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex information
