Position Overview:

We are seeking a Service Operations Administrator to join a respected organization. This role is designed to be a temporary position with the potential for permanent employment.

Role Purpose:
The primary function of this position is to serve as the initial point of contact for both clients and service engineers. We are looking for an individual who is proactive and innovative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming service requests and technical inquiries via phone and email.
  • Coordinate engineer schedules for service calls.
  • Engage with clients to organize extensive work scopes and manage essential documentation.
  • Enhance the company’s reputation by fostering positive relationships and ensuring a satisfactory customer experience.
  • Communicate with engineers to confirm workloads and distribute reports, while also checking inventory levels.
  • Work with subcontractors to place orders and oversee projects from initiation to completion.
  • Provide service support by reviewing engineer reports before sending them to clients, preparing quotes for additional work, and processing sales orders for timely invoicing.
  • Organize the dispatch of components to engineers and subcontractors, and assist in managing returns.
  • Contribute to departmental growth by suggesting improvements and adapting to changes.
  • Engage in proactive office-based sales and promote service packages.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range: £28,000 - £30,000 base
Profit-sharing bonus

On-site parking available
Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, with flexible start times
Opportunity for remote work after the probation period.
