Main Responsibilities:
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in providing ongoing support to both care staff and service users, ensuring the delivery of top-notch care services.


Field Care Supervisors are expected to primarily operate within the community, fulfilling their core responsibilities, while also engaging in some office-based administrative tasks.

The successful applicant will work on a rota basis, including weekends.

  • Accept, allocate, and process new referrals for care and support in a timely manner.
  • Implement changes to clients' care and support plans.
  • Ensure adequate coverage to deliver care and support punctually.
  • Oversee the allocation of care staff to optimize efficiency while assisting them with our IT systems.
  • Collaborate with the office team to maintain accurate electronic and handwritten records.
  • Work alongside the Care Team and other health and social care professionals to provide high-quality home care services and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor the performance standards of care staff through spot checks, supervisions, and observations.
  • Conduct client reviews both on-site and via phone.
  • Ensure all documentation in clients' files is completed and client information is recorded in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Report to the manager on any aspects of client care that require investigation or urgent action.
  • Assist in the office as needed and cover for holidays and sickness.
  • Participate in On-call duties, which are shared among the office team.

Examples of the clients' needs you will be supporting as a Field Care Supervisor include:

Assisting clients with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing, etc.)

Performing light housekeeping tasks.

Observing, monitoring, and maintaining records.
