Job Description

Role Overview

The Pharmacy Support Associate will play a vital role in the Pharmacy team at Montu, a leading cannabis company. This dynamic and patient-centric individual will be responsible for supporting patients in navigating their journey through the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process prescriptions efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Troubleshoot basic IT issues, including Shopify and payment-related problems, to ensure seamless patient experience.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team and clinic to ensure timely medication dispensing.
  • Support the Pharmacy team in various areas, including:
    • Managing prescriptions received from the clinic.
    • Resolving minor queries and issues.
    • First point of contact for quality issues with medication.
    • Supporting patients in navigating their care within the pharmacy and clinic.
    • Assisting with administrative tasks related to ordering processes.
    • Supporting operational and clinical recruitment and onboarding.
    • Handling complaints and incidents, collating feedback, and liaising with the Head of Governance.
    • Reporting incidents and significant events, and liaising with the Head of Governance.
    • Liaising with product and tech support teams on technical issues.
    • Working closely with the line manager and wider team on service improvement.
    • Attending work-related meetings as required.
    • Maintaining mandatory training and familiarity with company policies and SOPs.
    • Working flexible shifts as required.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good understanding of working in a highly regulated industry and following policies and SOPs.
  • High level of IT proficiency.
