Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team at Montu, a leading cannabis company. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a critical role in supporting the supply of Controlled Medicinal Botanical Products (CMBP) in a specialist private pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Validation: Receive and validate prescriptions ready for clinical checks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Patient Information Management: Process patient information appropriately, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Pharmacy Operations Support: Assist the Responsible Pharmacist and Technicians in daily pharmacy operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for any queries to the pharmacy, responding promptly and professionally.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for the supply of CMBP, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Stock Management: Maintain the security and integrity of CMBP stock on site, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Communicate prescription information to the Department of Health to meet regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Governance and Safety: Support governance in the pharmacy to ensure a safe and compliant working environment, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A UK-qualified Pharmacy Dispenser with a strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and practices.
  • Experience: Ideally, experience in working in a pharmacy dispensary environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals. Strong computer literacy, with a good working knowledge of office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
