Position Overview:

As the Bakery Section Supervisor, you will oversee the daily functions of the bakery section, ensuring the smooth production of premium baked products. Your role will include managing stock levels, leading the team, and upholding food safety regulations. You will also be instrumental in implementing recipes and promoting staff well-being while fostering a collaborative work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide, train, and support team members in their roles.
  • Effectively assign tasks and ensure clarity in team responsibilities.
  • Encourage a workplace culture that values teamwork, innovation, and high standards.
  • Distribute tasks among team members based on their skills and workload.
  • Guarantee that all products adhere to quality benchmarks regarding flavor, presentation, and uniformity.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely restocking of ingredients and supplies.
  • Ensure proper segregation of raw materials and finished goods to prevent contamination.

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in baking or a supervisory capacity within the food sector is generally necessary.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage a sizable team, onboard new employees, and handle scheduling.
  • Business Insight: Familiarity with inventory oversight, cost management, and customer relations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to address operational issues, customer feedback, and maintain efficient daily functions.
