Customer Service Advisor - Trade Counter

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team in Bangor. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, building strong relationships with customers through face-to-face and phone interactions.
  • Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, promoting our full range of products to customers.
  • Offer realistic quotations, meeting both customer and business needs.
  • Maintain a high standard of store presentation, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Develop and promote new and promotional product lines.
  • Process cash transactions, refunds, and till operations accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering more as required to meet customer demand.

Requirements:

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and understanding what great service looks, sounds, and feels like.
  • Proven experience in a face-to-face sales and customer service role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in the use of IT and good computer literacy, with strong telephone skills.
  • Web sales, e-commerce, and social media experience.
  • Ideal knowledge or experience of the construction/building materials industry.
