Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Classroom Support Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for providing cover supervision across various subjects in a secondary school setting.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience in an educational setting or equivalent, with strong behavioural management skills and the ability to motivate students to reach their potential. You will be an effective communicator, able to deliver instructions and work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide cover supervision across various subjects in a secondary school setting
  • Support teachers in the classroom, assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Manage student behaviour, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and other support staff
  • Contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive school community

Requirements:

  • Experience in an educational setting or equivalent
  • Strong behavioural management skills
  • Ability to motivate students to reach their potential
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
