The Cambian Group

Salary: £13.09 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Lymington, Hampshire

At our esteemed institution, we are dedicated to nurturing and educating young individuals facing various communication, behavioral, social, and emotional challenges. Our environment is designed to engage intellectually capable young people through enriching and stimulating activities.

As a Lead Care Support Specialist, you will join a compassionate and skilled team, collaborating to empower our children and young adults to reach their fullest potential.

This role is dynamic and rewarding, requiring individuals who are committed, empathetic, and engaging. Essential qualities include perseverance, resilience, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges our young people face in social contexts. By building meaningful relationships, you will witness firsthand the progress and improvements of each individual through the support provided.

You will also have opportunities for personal and professional development. Comprehensive training and support will be offered to help you achieve a nationally recognized Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. Many team members who began as Support Specialists have advanced into senior roles, and we encourage those seeking career growth within The Cambian Group.

An Enhanced DBS check and reference verification will be conducted in accordance with government regulations and best practices for safer recruitment. While we strive to expedite the recruitment process, the necessary checks may extend the timeline. We are committed to ensuring that all young individuals receive equitable support tailored to their needs. Employees of The Cambian Group are responsible for promoting equal opportunities and addressing any behavior or practices that may discriminate against any young person or colleague.

As part of our safeguarding measures, we will perform online searches of shortlisted candidates. This will be conducted by an impartial individual who will only share relevant findings if they raise concerns regarding suitability to work with children.
