About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Care UK team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that the best care plans are created and delivered for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising your shift to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained
- Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective care planning
- Administering and recording medication in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Carrying out risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks to residents
- Working closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs and promote independence
- Collaborating with the leadership team to develop and implement services that meet the needs of our residents
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to lead and supervise others, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care
- IT literate and able to use technology to support care planning and administration
