About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Care UK team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that the best care plans are created and delivered for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and supervising your shift to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained
  • Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective care planning
  • Administering and recording medication in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Carrying out risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks to residents
  • Working closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs and promote independence
  • Collaborating with the leadership team to develop and implement services that meet the needs of our residents

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise others, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care
  • IT literate and able to use technology to support care planning and administration
