Job Title: Head of Asset Maintenance

Deekay Technical Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Asset Maintenance to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our assets, ensuring that they are properly maintained and operated to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate and supervise maintenance teams to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  2. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that assets are properly maintained and repaired.
  3. Work with maintenance teams to identify and resolve maintenance issues and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  4. Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure that maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  7. Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures.
  8. Develop and implement training programs to ensure that maintenance teams have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their duties effectively.
  9. Monitor and report on maintenance budgets, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing changes as necessary.
  10. Develop and maintain maintenance records and reports to ensure that maintenance activities are properly documented and tracked.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct maintenance teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with maintenance teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement, with the ability to implement changes as necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve maintenance issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
