As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our assets, ensuring that they are properly maintained and repaired in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise Maintenance Operatives: Coordinate and supervise a team of maintenance operatives to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to maintain our assets.
  2. Ensure Quality and Timeliness: Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
  3. Pre-Inspect Work: Pre-inspect work to identify any potential issues and ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available.
  4. Plan and Schedule Work: Plan and schedule maintenance work to ensure that it is carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  5. Monitor Performance: Monitor the performance of maintenance operatives and ensure that they are meeting agreed performance standards.
  6. Collaborate with Surveyors: Collaborate with surveyors to ensure that maintenance work is carried out in accordance with agreed policies and procedures.
  7. Conduct Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that maintenance work is being carried out safely and effectively.
  8. Develop Maintenance Plans: Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure that our assets are properly maintained and repaired.
  9. Manage Contractors: Manage contractors engaged by the maintenance department to ensure that they are meeting agreed performance standards.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
