Position Overview:

The Crown Estate is on the lookout for a skilled Residential Property Manager to oversee a distinguished portfolio of premium residential properties. This role demands a professional who can ensure that our residents enjoy exceptional living conditions while maintaining the integrity of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relations: Manage diverse tenancy arrangements, guaranteeing outstanding living experiences for our residents.
  • Financial Oversight: Work in conjunction with the credit control team to facilitate timely rent collection and address end-of-tenancy issues.
  • Property Evaluations: Perform regular assessments of property conditions to identify and address maintenance requirements.
  • Project Coordination: Spearhead small-scale initiatives aimed at enhancing property value during the management period.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with block management and facilities teams to keep residents informed and maintain communal areas.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in residential property management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound commercial insight.
  • ARLA qualification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) is advantageous.

Essential Skills:

  • Tenancy Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various tenancy types.
  • Relationship Management: Ability to foster positive relationships with residents through effective communication.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Skill in managing both reactive and proactive maintenance tasks.
  • Financial Management: Proficient in tracking rent payments and managing arrears.
  • End-of-Tenancy Expertise: Experience in handling eviction notices and negotiating deposit returns.
  • Inspection Proficiency: Conduct thorough inspections during vacant periods and regular tenancy evaluations.
  • Project Management: Lead small property projects and collaborate on larger initiatives.
  • Collaboration with Management Teams: Work closely with block management personnel.
  • Facilities Management: Coordinate with facilities teams to ensure the upkeep of shared amenities.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on trends in residential property management and utilize property management software effectively.
