About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Willing Care. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents in a residential care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a positive role model and provide effective supervision and guidance to the care team.
  • Communicate any concerns to senior management and ensure the implementation of individual care plans.
  • Provide practical support and responsive care to residents who require assistance with personal care needs.
  • Monitor and allocate work for healthcare assistants and develop and maintain a good professional relationship with residents, colleagues, and visitors.
  • Undertake administration of medication training and administer medication to residents as required.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Health and Social Care or above.
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a care assistant in a residential or nursing home setting.
  • Awareness of the principles of person-centred care planning.
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge.
  • Live within 30 minutes of the care home.
