About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Store Manager at Pets at Home Retail. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including stock management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and improve store performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety and customer service standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a minimum of 6 months hands-on supervisory/management experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management and visual merchandising
