Pets at Home Group Plc is a leading pet care business in the UK, with a range of Pet Care Centres, Pets Grooming salons, and Vets for Pets practices across the country.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of the store management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, including stock control, recruitment, and store standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Deputy or Store Manager
  • Lead from the front with a hands-on approach, inspiring your team and creating a fantastic place to shop and work
  • Maximise sales and performance across all primary KPIs
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
  • Maintain high store standards, including stock control and visual merchandising

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced retail professional with a minimum of 6 months hands-on supervisory/management experience. You will need to be flexible, with the ability to work a flexible shift pattern across 7 days a week. You will also need to be passionate about retail, with a proven track record of delivering high standards and great results.
