About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Advisor to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Fire Safety Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our employees and the public by providing expert advice on fire safety and emergency preparedness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct fire safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with site fire safety standards and UK legislation.
  • Develop and implement fire safety procedures and protocols to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the MEH Alliance to integrate and coordinate the delivery of fire safety services across the project.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to site contractors and employees on fire safety and emergency preparedness.
  • Support the development and implementation of emergency exercises and training programs to ensure a high level of preparedness.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within fire safety, with a strong understanding of fire safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate fire safety procedures and expectations to a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve fire safety goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate fire safety risks.
  • NEBOSH Fire and Construction Certificates or equivalent qualifications desirable.
