About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Advisor to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our SHE department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe planning, delivery, and review of complex projects across the construction and maintenance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of SHE policies, standards, and legislation across all business units.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance and provide guidance to site teams.
- Develop and maintain SHE plans and procedures to ensure effective risk management.
- Collaborate with site management to prepare construction SHE plans and review them regularly.
- Carry out formal SHE reviews on all sites to ensure compliance with Vistry Group SHE policies and standards.
- Provide specialist support and advice on SHE matters to business units and site teams.
- Support the development and implementation of SHE training programs for site teams and business units.
- Monitor and report on SHE performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- NEBOSH Construction or equivalent diploma.
- Experience in the construction industry, preferably in a Safety Advisor role.
- Member of a Professional Body, progressing to Chartered status.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
