Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join our team, focusing on providing assistance to a Year 1 student with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

Compensation:

Salary: £90 - £95 (PAYE)

Employment Type:

This is a long-term, temporary position.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Support a child with SEMH needs, utilizing emotional coaching techniques to help them manage their emotions effectively.
  • Develop engaging learning materials to foster academic growth.
  • Assist in the organization and cleanup of classroom activities.
Candidate Requirements:

While experience as a Year 1 SEN Support Assistant is preferred, we also welcome applications from graduates aspiring to advance in the education sector, as well as individuals with relevant childcare experience.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the UK is required.
