- Develop and implement sustainable procurement practices, ensuring alignment with the NHS Net Zero plan.
- Provide expert advice on procurement strategies, including alternatives and value for money.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective contract management and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine precise requirements and specifications for procurement projects.

Requirements- Significant experience of working within procurement and contract management.
- Leading on procurement projects, including strategic procurement and planning experience.
- Detailed knowledge of UK procurement directives and legislation.
- Experience of working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Experience of using e-tendering systems.
- Degree or equivalent and/or demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- Relevant Contract and Procurement management training, IACCM and/or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply qualifications.
