About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Contracts Manager to join our team at Gtd Healthcare. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for establishing and managing our procurement processes, ensuring that we achieve the best value for money and meet our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve efficiency
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with our procurement policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize procurement projects and initiatives
  • Provide expert advice on procurement and contract management to senior managers and other stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance, including cost savings and supplier performance

Requirements

  • Significant experience of working in procurement and contract management, preferably in the NHS or public sector
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Knowledge of UK procurement directives and legislation, including the Public Contracts Regulations 2015
  • Relevant qualifications in procurement and contract management, such as CIPS or IACCM
