The Vice President of Solutions Consulting oversees all technical sales operations within the EMEA region. This role encompasses both strategic and tactical execution of the company's sales initiatives, along with the formulation and application of solutions consulting methodologies and best practices. You will collaborate closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and other senior leaders to propel the overall company strategy, while directly managing Solutions Consulting Managers and staff in the region to ensure the effective delivery of technical sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Senior Sales VP to meet global sales targets.
- Establish and implement technical sales protocols and procedures, integrating modern best practices for ongoing team improvement.
- Provide education and training for both technical and non-technical sales personnel.
- Oversee the regional Solutions Consulting Directors.
- Lead initiatives to guarantee the provision of all technical resources for sales campaigns.
- Assist in crafting RFPs and other client proposals.
- Recommend technical and innovative business solutions to support sales efforts.
- Present both technical and business aspects of proposed solutions to a C-Level audience.
- Support the radiation strategy within global accounts by nurturing customer relationships.
- Collaborate with senior leadership across departments to ensure effective teamwork and strategic alignment within the organization.
- Mentor and guide direct reports.
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise-level, complex sales with a PaaS emphasis.
- Extensive background as a successful Solutions Consultant or Pre-Sales professional in the Enterprise Software sector.
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing teams (2nd line management).
- Able to excel in a distinctive culture that encourages innovative thinking and creative problem-solving.
- Technical proficiency to address all functional and technical aspects of RFIs/RFPs.
- Successful track record in conveying customer needs to Product Management teams.
- Experience leading an EMEA team and effectively engaging with diverse cultures within internal teams and the customer base.
- Willingness to travel to client sites within the assigned region as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
