Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Life Sciences Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and ensuring customer success in the East Anglia region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to enhance their experience and satisfaction with our products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to communicate with all stakeholders involved in customer success.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to identify growth opportunities and enhance customer engagement with our platform.
  • Manage comprehensive reporting on the health of customer accounts, providing actionable insights to internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, account management, or a related field within the pharma, biotech, and/or academic sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successful client-facing roles.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide strategic recommendations for account growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with high-throughput screening technologies or related fields.
  • Familiarity with oncology research, toxicity checks, or related fields.
