The Repairs Manager is a critical role responsible for leading a team of construction professionals to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance services. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee responsive repairs and void projects for Social Housing properties across the region.
  • Manage a team of multi-skilled operatives, including joiners, roofers, and plumbers.
  • Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals to deliver high-quality repair services.
  • Oversee project management, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implement and monitor health and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage resources effectively to optimize efficiency.
  • Handle customer complaints and queries professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • HNC level in a construction-related discipline or equivalent.
  • Holds the IOSH Managing Safely Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience of managing and leading a property maintenance service.
  • Operational experience, including people, contractors, and projects.
  • An in-depth understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
  • A problem-solving mentality with a customer-focused approach.
  • A valid driving license.
