  • Support the Investment Manager's professional relationships by assisting in responding to non-technical inquiries and enhancing service delivery.
  • Under guidance, provide clients and their advisers with information and reports regarding their portfolios, noting that you will not initiate investment advice or management services.
  • Assist the Investment Manager in preparing client presentations and proposals for both existing and prospective clients.
  • Ensure all tasks comply with relevant regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies.
  • Conduct dealing transactions under the supervision of the Investment Manager(s), with a strong emphasis on Excel proficiency.
  • Prepare and supply clients and intermediaries with necessary information and reports.
  • Foster effective relationships with team members to facilitate smooth operations, particularly in the absence of other support staff and Investment Managers.
  • Complete all tasks in accordance with relevant rules, compliance regulations, and internal procedures.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Handling phone inquiries and addressing client queries
    • Managing standard client correspondence
    • Creating PowerPoint presentations
    • Coordinating the production, verification, and distribution of valuations and client documentation
    • Collaborating with operational departments to resolve data discrepancies, transaction delays, and other operational issues, acting as a liaison for IT, Compliance, and support teams
    • Assisting investment directors in pursuing new business opportunities, working closely with marketing teams on presentations and investment proposals, and occasionally attending client meetings
    • Performing any additional duties as reasonably requested by your line manager to ensure efficient client management
About You

  • Experience in a similar role within investment or wealth management is preferred.
  • This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the support and technical aspects of investment management without seeking to transition into an Investment Manager role.
  • Possession of a CISI Level 4 qualification is required.
