Position Overview

The Investment Management Associate will collaborate closely with the Investment Management team to cultivate and nurture strong relationships with clients, offering comprehensive support in managing client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address and support client requirements effectively.
  • Assist in managing client portfolios, including trading activities, according to your competency level.
  • Prepare for client review meetings and provide necessary assistance.
  • Conduct basic analyses as needed.
  • Support the creation of presentations, investment proposals, and pitches.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with company policy.
  • Aim for zero complaints and ensure any received are promptly escalated to the Client Resolution team for satisfactory resolution.

Investment Research – Sector Specialist (if applicable)

  • Work collaboratively within a team focusing on direct equity or collective sector analysis to meet the firm’s broader investment process requirements.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the sector to provide well-informed recommendations based on diverse resources.
  • Actively engage in regular meetings, taking ownership of assigned tasks, and collaborating with other sector specialists.
  • Develop materials as needed within sector teams to support analysis and communication with Investment Managers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 4 IAD qualification.
  • Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above.
  • Experience in an investment management setting.
  • Proficient in managing relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
