We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist - Refugee Mental Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing specialist psychological assessments and treatments to adults with a history of forced migration.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based psychological assessments and treatments for complex mental health difficulties, including trauma-focused therapy models.
- Work closely with refugees, asylum seekers, and other forced migrant groups, using interpreters as needed.
- Contribute to the development and provision of training on working with asylum seekers and refugees, as well as treating PTSD.
- Participate in research, audits, and service evaluation, and contribute to the supervision of assistant psychologists and trainee clinical psychologists.
