About the Role:

The Deputy Head of Construction at West London College presents an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional with a background in a trade discipline and a passion for driving innovation in education.

We are seeking someone who has 'walked the walk' in both industry and education, and who can be truly effective and influential in supporting our staff and learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative construction and green technology programs to enhance the college's curriculum offer.
  • Collaborate with the management team to drive the college's strategic objectives and expand its apprenticeship provision.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art facilities to deliver high-quality education and training in areas such as bricklaying, carpentry, electrical work, plastering, and plumbing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners to ensure the college's programs meet the needs of local employers.
  • Contribute to the development of the college's sustainability strategy and initiatives.
