As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to their projects, minimizing costs, and enhancing margin and value for money while maintaining required standards and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate and issue tender packs for subcontractor work packages
  • Negotiate and analyze subcontractor tender returns
  • Produce tender analysis for subcontract work packages
  • Complete subcontract orders and variations
  • Manage subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts
  • Complete monthly CVRs and cost reporting
  • Conduct cost reporting and budget control
  • Attend site project meetings
  • Lead projects with HA, including preparing and issuing monthly HA valuations, cash flow forecasts, and key date trackers

Requirements:

  • HNC in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or equivalent
  • Experience working in the Construction industry for a Main Contractor or JCT
  • Excellent IT, analytical, and communication skills
  • COINs user experience
  • Professional membership of MCIOB or RICS preferable, or working towards such qualification
  • Familiarity with different construction methods, such as Timber Frame, RC Frame, and Traditional Build
