About the Role:

Falcon Green is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in a full-time capacity. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to the company's projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project costs to minimize expenses and enhance margin and value for money
  • Procure and manage subcontractors, including administration of contracts, monthly payments, and final account settlement
  • Collate and issue tender packs for subcontractor work packages
  • Negotiate and analyze subcontractor tender returns
  • Produce tender analysis for subcontract work packages
  • Manage subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts
  • Attend site project meetings and lead project teams
  • Prepare and issue monthly project valuations, cash flow forecasts, and key date trackers

Requirements:

  • HNC in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or equivalent
  • Experience working in the construction industry for a main contractor or JCT
  • Proficiency in COINs
  • Knowledge of different construction methods, including timber frame, RC frame, and traditional build
