As the Deputy Head of Construction, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and management of the Construction department, supporting the Head of Construction in overseeing curriculum development, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and fostering a positive environment for staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of a curriculum department and promote very high standards in a positive and supportive culture that aspires to be outstanding.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum plans, ensuring alignment with college goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective teaching and learning practices, and provide coaching and mentoring to staff as needed.
  • Support the Head of Construction in managing departmental budgets, resources, and personnel.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and industry experts to enhance the college's reputation and opportunities.
