About the Role

Falcon Green is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Ealing. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to their projects, ensuring that costs are minimized and value for money is enhanced.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate and issue tender packs for sub-contractor work packages
  • Negotiate and analyze subcontractor tender returns
  • Produce tender analysis for subcontract work packages
  • Complete subcontract orders and variations
  • Manage subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts
  • Prepare and submit monthly CVRs and cost reports
  • Conduct cost reporting and budget control
  • Attend site project meetings
  • Lead projects with HA, including preparing and issuing monthly HA valuations, cash flow forecasts, and key date trackers

Requirements

  • HNC in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or equivalent
  • Experience working in the construction industry for a main contractor or JCT
  • Excellent IT, analytical, and communication skills
  • COINs user experience
  • Professional membership of MCIOB or RICS preferable, or working towards such qualification
  • Familiarity with different construction methods, including Timber Frame, RC Frame, and Traditional Build
