About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Philanthropy Manager to join our team at Imperial Health Charity. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a pivotal role in securing significant donations and fostering long-term relationships with key supporters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on securing major gifts from individuals, trusts, corporates, and statutory bodies.
  • Deliver impactful stewardship to your donor portfolio, ensuring long-term engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the charity and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust to oversee fundraising campaigns from inception through to delivery and evaluation.
  • Achieve your own targets, monitor progress against KPIs, and ensure compliance with fundraising best practices.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Create compelling and high-quality written materials, including funding applications and impact reports.
  • Deliver bespoke events for major supporters.
  • Engage NHS staff in our grateful patient programme to build relationships.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to overcome identified risks in income generation.
  • Monitor income against your portfolio.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience of securing five-figure-plus gifts from major supporters.
  • Experience managing and developing information on a CRM database.
  • A strong understanding of Institute of Fundraising (IoF) policies and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of numeracy and ability to create detailed budgets for fundraising proposals.
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach, with the ability to inspire and motivate stakeholders.
