About the Role

The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund is seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Major Gifts to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for growing and exceeding our net income over the next five years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Major Gifts team to achieve annual targets
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and exceed net income
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors and partners
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a cohesive and effective fundraising approach
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising initiatives and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Proven track record of successful fundraising and leadership experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • DBS clearance and the right to work in the UK
