About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy finance team working for a prestigious employer in Glasgow. As a key member of the central finance team, you will have the opportunity to influence stakeholders and drive financial controls and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities

As a Deputy Finance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for finance operations management, delivering an excellent service while ensuring adequate cost controls are in place. You will lead and manage a team of 3, empowering them to make informed decisions and drive change. Process improvement is key, and you will support a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage a team of 3 and lead finance operations
  • Plan and organise work to align with the finance strategy
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure robust monthly finance reporting, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Review external party returns and ensure treasury compliance
  • Play a key role in risk management and control
