Job Title: Deputy Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Search. The successful candidate will have a clinical background and management experience to support the Home Manager in ensuring the highest standards of care are provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take leadership of the care team, supporting with training, continuing professional development, and rotas.
  • Create and monitor care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Support the Home Manager with daily operations, including budgeting, reporting, and working closely with external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families, addressing any queries and providing support where needed.
  • Comply with standards set by SSSC and follow all company, operational, and health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must be an RGN with an active PIN.
  • SVQ4 in Leadership and Management is beneficial but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role, creating strong working relationships with team members.
  • Knowledge of care home operations and of the expectations of standards.
