Nurse Deputy Home Manager Job Opportunity

An exciting role has become available for a dedicated Nurse Deputy Home Manager to join our exceptional care home service in Queenslie, Glasgow area. As a key member of our team, you will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

About the Role

The care team at our home offers a range of care services, including nursing care, nursing dementia care, and respite care for individuals who require assistance with daily tasks. As the Nurse Deputy Home Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional experiences for residents, promoting choice and independence to enhance their lives
  • Achieving the highest possible standards of care and enhancing the resident experience, ensuring adherence to company policies, regulations, Codes of Conduct, and care plans
  • Working with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards of care, staff welfare, and training, and developing an excellent reputation
  • Developing personal relationships with residents, their relatives, and visitors to enhance the residents' quality of life
  • Deputising in the overall management of the care home, including producing reports, budgets, and Quality of Life monitoring
  • Taking responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents, and visitors to the Home, and alerting officers to any hazards or potential risks to health and safety
  • Ensuring team members attend training days and courses to maintain learning records and individual development
Requirements and Preferences

The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:

  • Experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place for efficient home operation
  • Experience in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services
  • Able to support and guide others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times
  • Experience working in the healthcare sector
  • Driven and motivated, with a commitment to quality care
  • An energetic, committed, and approachable manager
  • An inspiring leader who can motivate teams through passion and commitment
  • A natural networker with internal and external stakeholders
What We Offer

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £20.48 per hour and an annual salary of £42,598.40. This permanent position is a Full Time role for 40 hours a week, working through Days. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive:
