The care team at our home offers a range of care services, including nursing care, nursing dementia care, and respite care for individuals who require assistance with daily tasks.

To be considered for this position, you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire the team to deliver exceptional experiences for residents, promoting choice and independence to enhance their lives.
  • Achieve the highest possible standards of care and resident experience, ensuring adherence to company policies, regulations, Codes of Conduct, and care plans.
  • Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies on standards of care, staff welfare, and training, and develop an excellent reputation.
  • Develop personal relationships with residents, their relatives, and visitors to enhance the residents' quality of life.
  • Deputise in the overall management of the care home, including report production, budgeting, and Quality of Life monitoring.
  • Take responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents, and visitors to the Home, and alerting officers to any hazards or potential risks to health and safety.
  • Ensure team attendance at training days and courses, maintaining learning records and individual development.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in managing a team, ensuring staff supervision and rota management for efficient home operation.
  • Knowledge of quality and clinical governance programs, including audit and care services.
  • Able to support and guide others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Driven and motivated, with a commitment to quality care.
  • An energetic, committed, and approachable manager.
  • An inspiring leader who can motivate teams through passion and commitment.
  • A natural networker with internal and external stakeholders.
