Job Title: Deputy Manager Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Search. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager to ensure the highest standards of care are provided to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take leadership for the care team, supporting with training, continuing professional development, and rotas.
  • Create and monitor care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Support the Home Manager with daily operations, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the home.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families, addressing any queries they may have and providing support where needed.

Requirements:

  • Must be an RGN with an active PIN.
  • SVQ4 in Leadership and Management is beneficial but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role, creating strong working relationships with team members.
  • Knowledge of care home operations and the expectations of standards.
