Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Residential Development

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Randstad UK Holding. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Procurement of contractors, including tender analysis and award
  • Implementing new commercial processes, such as standardized commercial templates and tender procurement trackers
  • Working with the Technical department and external design consultants to build preconstruction plans and works scopes
  • Managing the running variation tracker and sign off variations and valuations
  • Risk analysis and cash flow forecasts
  • Monthly CVRs and package management

About the Company:

Our client is a regional developer specializing in bespoke developments producing up to 30 units on larger schemes. They have 4 developments under construction and 2 working through the preconstruction team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our client's residential development projects.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar or same role
  • Educated to HNC standard
  • Experience of residential development
  • Ability to travel around the Southern Home Counties and Essex to visit sites
  • Ability to work in the office for a minimum of 2 days
