About the Company:

Randstad is a regional developer known for its tailored residential projects, typically handling developments of up to 30 units. Currently, the company is managing multiple projects, with several in the preconstruction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will report directly to the Directors and take charge of various responsibilities, including:

  • Contractor procurement, which involves compiling tenders, conducting analyses, and awarding contracts.
  • Implementing commercial processes, including standardized templates, procurement trackers, and payment management systems.
  • Collaborating with the Technical department and external consultants to develop preconstruction plans and scopes of work.
  • Overseeing variation tracking and final account management.
  • Conducting risk assessments and cash flow forecasts.
  • Preparing monthly Cost Value Reports (CVRs) and managing package details.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Minimum educational qualification of HNC.
  • Background in residential development is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel across the Southern Home Counties and Essex for site visits.
  • Availability to work in the office at least two days a week.
