Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Tonbridge

Salary: Up to £65,000 per year + car allowance

CV Library is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a residential developer with numerous sites in Kent and East Sussex. The developer has pre-sold up to 80% of their properties before building.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  2. Work collaboratively with contractors and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  3. Develop and implement accurate cost management and budgeting strategies.
  4. Liaise with procurement teams to oversee contract management and ensure compliance.
  5. Contribute to the development of project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in residential development, with a strong understanding of construction processes.
  2. Experience working on the main contracting side, with a focus on project management.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  4. Valid driving licence and ability to travel to site locations.
  5. Relevant qualifications and certifications in construction management or a related field.
Compensation:

Up to £85,000 per year, including car allowance and private healthcare.
