About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Randstad UK Holding. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the success of our residential development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure contractors through a competitive tender process, analyzing and awarding contracts.
  • Implement new commercial processes, including standardized templates, tender procurement trackers, and final accounting systems.
  • Collaborate with the Technical department and external design consultants to develop preconstruction plans, works scopes, and schedules.
  • Manage variation trackers, sign off variations and valuations, and conduct risk analysis.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and monthly CVRs.
  • Package management, including measurement, valuations, and variations, payment notices, and final ongoing accounting.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar or the same role.
  • Educated to HNC standard.
  • Experience of residential development.
  • Ability to travel around the Southern Home Counties and Essex to visit sites.
  • Willingness to work in the office for a minimum of 2 days.
