Role Overview: As an M & E Preconstruction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of building services during the pre-construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement work-winning strategies for Mechanical & Electrical package tenders of values £4m - £40m.
  • Ensure compliance with Company Group and Sector Specific Procedures and Policies.
  • Maintain high standards in bid accuracy, risk assessment, and supply chain selection.
  • Collaborate with Pre-construction and work-winning teams to develop winning strategies.
  • Review tender documents, identify risks, and establish mitigation measures.
  • Conduct buildability and program reviews.
  • Assist estimators in understanding BWIC requirements.
  • Produce accurate and optimized estimates aligned with bid strategy.
  • Build strong relationships with Supply Chain, Pre-construction, and Operational teams.
  • Lead the production of the M&E tender phase and facilitate its transition to the operations team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Comprehensive experience in delivering large-value MEPH projects.
  • Recognized higher-level Mechanical or Electrical qualification.
  • Ability to read and interpret tender drawings and specifications.
