Job Description

Job Title: Autism Practitioner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Autism Practitioner to join our team at Scottish Autism. As an Autism Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing specialist support to individuals with autism, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Autism Practitioner and team members to ensure high-quality support is delivered.
  • Provide support with daily living tasks, promoting independence and active citizenship.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, valuing diversity and promoting equal opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Desirable experience of working within social care or a related field.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to Scottish Autism's values: Collaboration, Compassion, Change Makers, and Contribution.
