About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Children & Families team in Helensburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children, young people, and their families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop case plans to support children and families in need.
  • Provide family intervention and support services to promote positive outcomes.
  • Record and monitor work using an electronic case recording system.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure effective service delivery.
Requirements
  • BA(Hons) in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
  • Commitment to social work values and principles.
  • Effective interpersonal communication, IT, assessment, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to work and willingness to travel throughout Argyll and Bute.
