Position Overview

The Consultant Geriatrician will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Please refer to the attached documentation for detailed responsibilities and expectations.

QualificationsEssential
  • MB ChB/MBBS or equivalent qualification.
  • MRCP certification.
  • CCT in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent, or nearing completion of CCT.
Desirable
  • CCT in General Internal Medicine or equivalent.
Experience and SkillsEssential
  • Extensive experience in both General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine.
Desirable
  • Evidence of independent research capabilities.
Communication SkillsEssential
  • Proficient in communication with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
  • Commitment to collaborative practice.
Desirable
  • Training in communication skills and teaching.
Planning and ManagementEssential
  • Experience in service development and planning.

  • Successful implementation of innovative working methods.
